This talk will introduce some of Gary's own work and his collaborators work relating to China's Urbanization. It will focus on the social space degradation in the way people are being housed in new urban developments, and  what effects that is likely having on all aspects of their lives. 

 

Who is Gary?

Gary Reddick, AIA, is the president of V3 Studio, an award-winning international architecture firm based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Gary has been active in Portland, Oregon, as a civic leader, artist, and architect for over 35 years.  A recognized expert in urban planning and smart growth, Gary has dedicated his career to helping build quality architecture and increase the livability of communities throughout the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
